I wrote Praise GOD as a legacy concentrating on the many miracles in my life and the lives of my family members.  I see my family as larger than my immediate family, to include all my loved family members, regardless of their origin.

My purpose is to leave a colorful, meaningful legacy so the descendants of today’s family members are enchanted in reading of their parents and grandparents having miraculous adventures with their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.  Other readers include all those attracted to real-life miracle stories.

Another purpose is to give them an attention-getting book that draws them in to read the stories and consider the place of God in their lives.  I want all readers to find encouragement for their heart and their faith.

I pray they perceive God’s love for all His children, regardless of who they are or of their difficulties in life.  Most of all, I want them to come away with a strong sense that God is in control, God is good and God loves them.

With stories ranging from a life saved during the Afghan War, to less dramatic miracles like finding love again, Praise GOD will leave readers encouraged and believing.

Author Bio:

Born into a military family in Columbus, Ohio before World War II, Harold Kurstedt enjoyed many different homes and a diverse education.  He believes life is about loving and learning.  Harold stands for openness, connection, collaboration, honesty, and loyalty.  His joys are babies, smiles, God at work in people’s lives, someone helping someone else, forgiveness, truth, and a job well done.
