This book began as an incomplete anthology of some of the life lessons we learned in our first 55 years of marriage. The thoughts are not listed in order of priority. Life has a way of changing priorities. You will be going down one chosen path and then “Life Happens” to make you change your course, adjust your sails, and begin anew. As a result your own priorities will change with each year of life based on your own experiences and past choices.

As you read these points of insight and wisdom, select what relates to your life at this moment in time. Fake it. Practice. Watch others. Remember what your mother and father taught you. Listen and learn. Be forgiving. WE know we were not perfect people, but we consciously tried to do our best.

We know that the ideas presented are not necessarily original with us but have been gathered over the years from our experiences and the people we admire. We, also, admit that we have not perfectly followed all of this great advice. We tried our best. We have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. We actively seek His guiding Spirit in all that we do. It is our fervent desire that all that is written here receives His divine approval. If there be any weaknesses here, it is ours alone.
